Vietnam

This series was created during a journey through Vietnam. The focus is less on individual landmarks and more on the rhythm of the country: movement, street life, encounters, light, sounds and the many small moments that shape everyday life.

For me, Vietnam was a journey full of visual contrasts — between calm and speed, closeness and distance, tradition and urban motion. The images tell of situations that often emerge in passing, yet reveal a great deal about a place and its atmosphere.

Working Approach

The project was photographed with a restrained, observational approach. The focus was on not artificially staging people, places and everyday situations, but on responding to the existing atmosphere and developing a quiet documentary series from it.
